Building back stronger

Two years ago, I wasn’t running for medals—I was running to survive. To clear my mind. To find a way forward when life felt overwhelming. What started as just 20 minutes a day became something more—a mindset, a mission, and, ultimately, a way of life.

Then, everything changed.

A cycling accident shattered my upper body, sidelining me from the sport I loved. But resilience isn’t just about what your body can do—it’s about how your mind responds when everything feels impossible. I used my coaching, mindfulness, and performance psychology background to train my mind as I had trained my body. I rebuilt myself—physically and mentally- step by step and returned more resilient than ever.

Now, I don’t just run to survive; I run to thrive. I qualified for the Boston Marathon, became an RBC GranFondo Ambassador, and am taking on two more World Marathon Majors. More importantly, I have learned to harness and store resilience to coach others to find their resilience—whether in leadership, sports, or life’s toughest transitions.
